Foothills Energy Services, Inc. has been on site and constructing the transmission line and Kiowa Substation. Land owners in the area should see heavy construction traffic continue on the transmission line till the end of August and at Kiowa Substation till mid-September. By the end of August the majority of the transmission line will be constructed on the north to south section of the line. The contractor will demobilize and return the second half of October to finish the substation work and rebuild the existing transmission line running east and west by CR 154. The construction work will continue till the end of the year with restoration starting this fall. Land owners specifically affected by the construction will be contacted directly to coordinate access to their properties.
